The specialist team is led by the directors John Varcoe, Dr Andreas Klieber and Jet Li. With over 50 years accumulated experience between them, both here in Australia and around the world, they have vast experience in FMCG, food production, horticulture, food technology, supply chain management and food service.
Our team ranges from food technologists, microbiologist, nutritionist and consumer scientists, accredited auditors, quality inspectors, specification and labelling experts, customer enquiry administrators, quality professionals and trainers.
They are highly skilled in their specific roles. We foster a culture of constant improvement and provide ongoing training to ensure they are abreast of new and emerging technologies. Importantly we select staff who adopt a 'can do' attitude and who have ability to build a strong working relationship with our clients.
John has a science and commercial background, with 23 years in the manufacturing sector as a technical director for large FMCG organisations, spending 6 years driving quality improvements in consumer retailing for one of Australia’s leading supermarkets.

Dr Andreas Klieber
Andreas’ journey began with a BSc (Hons 1) and PhD in Food Science and Technology. His initial career was spent with Agriculture Canada/University of British Columbia, and Universities of Queensland and Adelaide in food science and horticulture. He gained significant experience in retail technical and quality management by working in the UK for 3 years with innovation-leading retailer Marks & Spencer and then for 7 years with a leading Australian supermarket. He is currently serving as a non-executive director for the AIFST (Australian Institution of Food Science and Technology).

Jet has a Master of Applied Microbiology & Biotechnology and has spent a number of years working in the quality and product innovation sectors across Australia and Asia. He has extensive experience across retail, manufacturing, hotel chains and food service channels.
