Andreas Klieber – CEO / Trainer
BSc (Hons 1) Food Science and Technology; PhD Food Science and Technology; Certificate IV (Training & Assessment); Board and Professional Member AIFST.
Andreas has wide-ranging experience in the food industry and has worked with the food industry for more than 25 years.
After finishing university, Andreas worked in food-related areas for 15 years with the University of British Columbia and Agriculture Canada and the Universities of Queensland and Adelaide.
Building on his educational and research credentials, he moved into industry-based roles with the innovation-leading retailer Marks & Spencer in the UK and a leading domestic supermarket.
In that time, he worked closely with a diverse food manufacturing base including primary product and high-risk ready-to-eat products to enhance quality and protect brand reputation.
Through his engagement with many different types of businesses from small to large scale manufacturers as well as key Australian retailers, he has substantial insights into industry trends and future requirements.
Andreas is now a partner and director of the Quality Associates group and heads up Quality Associates Training.
Kerri Goodman – Auditor/Trainer/ Consultant
Advanced Diploma (Quality Management), Diploma (Catering Management / Food Industry Quality Assurance Management); Certificate IV (Training & Assessment); Lead Auditor and Skills Examiner registered with Exemplar Global.
Kerri is a certified Exemplar Global lead audit and skills examiner with extensive food category scopes. She has worked in the food industry since 1986. After finishing university Kerri started her career in hospital cook chill kitchens and production sites.
Prior to joining Quality Associates Training, Kerri has spent over 16 years working in the food safety, operations and quality divisions of one of Australia’s leading supermarket chains.
Kerri worked as a TAFE program co-ordinator/facilitator for 6 years. One of her projects was the training roll-out of Food Safety Programs to Victorian Environmental Health Officers and Food Safety Supervisor training to food business. During her time at the supermarket chain, she established a Quality Academy which offered an extensive suite of food safety, quality and compliance training courses (facilitated and online) to team members and suppliers. Kerri designed and delivered many bespoke courses to meet business and industry needs.
Chris Mihalakos Auditor/Trainer/ Consultant
BSc (Hon) Food Science and Technology; Certificate IV (Training & Assessment).
Chris has worked in the food industry for over 20 years, having held senior roles across in manufacturing, retail and certification organisations.
She pursued a path in quality assurance in various food manufacturing organisations, including in the meat and prepared meals industry. This provided her with extensive industry experience.
Joining the certification industry, she conducted third party audits against internationally recognised standards i.e. SQF and HACCP; government audits were also part of her portfolio, including Primesafe and Food Safety Victoria.
In 2004 Chris joined the supplier management team of one of Australia’s leading supermarket chains. With her knowledge and experience in both food manufacturing and auditing, she played an integral part in that team. The role required engagement with suppliers and assisting them in their development of food safety and quality systems.
On joining Quality Associates in 2014, Chris became the technical lead of the audit team and has delivered supply chain audits and training in the wider food industry.
Chris is conversant with food legislation, certification standards and retail customer requirements. Her experience in quality assurance, training and auditing has driven her passion for assisting the food industry to provide safe, high quality food.
